THE DETAILS

Register: Make sure you register online before the camp to reserve your spot.

Come Ready: Get a good night’s sleep, eat breakfast, and drink plenty of water.

ALL Positions: Check-in begins at 8:30 AM.

Suit Up: Athletes will receive a USMC Sports Leadership Academy shirt. You will be responsible to bring all other equipment such as cleats, socks, shorts, etc.

Be on Time!

Skills and Drills: Our elite coaching staff will lead you through drills that will help develop skills, increase agility, improve techniques, and help you become a better player.

Scrimmage: Line up against the best players from your area and compete.

Leadership Training: The Marine Corps Leadership Traits will be taught during breakout sessions that focus on how sports skills learned relate to real world challenges.

FREE Lunch: All athletes will receive a free catered lunch from USMC Sports.

Awards Ceremony: Awards will be presented to the top performers and top leaders at the conclusion of the camp. All athletes and family members are encouraged to attend and take photos.

DeMarcus Harris Head Football Coach And Athletic Coordinator Mesquite High

Born in Tyler, Graduated from Pittsburg High School 2001

Attended Austin College, played football

Degree: BA in Education/ Secondary History

Wife- Valerie

Daughter- Dalacia 20

Son- DeMarcus II 14

I have had stops at Desoto, Hillcrest, Little Elm, Arlington Seguin, Richardson, and Cedar Hill.

I was a defensive coordinator for 9 years before becoming the head coach/ athletic coordinator of Mesquite High School.

I have had some of the top defenses in the metroplex for the last 10 years. I had Cedar Hill #1 and #3 defense in school history.

Took over and 2 win Mesquite Program and got to the 2nd round of the playoffs in 2021

I coached in the 2020 state championship.

I have coached over 80+ college athletes in my 16-year career.
